Save The Date: Luton Dementia Awareness Walk on Sunday 28 September 2025

Young@Heart is planning a Luton Dementia Awareness Walk on Sunday 28 September 2025, a partnership event supported by Young@Heart, Music 24 and the Rotary Club.

Someone you know is, or will be, affected by dementia. How much do we understand about it and what can we do to make living with dementia easier?

NOW YOU REALLY GOTTA GO, So Walk on by

Walk with us and learn more about dementia and the support services available to our community in Luton and the surrounding areas. Help to raise awareness by taking a gentle, family-friendly walk around the beautiful Stockwood Park estate.

Children are welcome, though must be accompanied by an adult. Accessible routes, including route maps, are available.

Refreshments, information stands, workshops, goody bags and free parking are promised.

The day may be cloudy or sunny

The walk will take place come rain or come shine! Walkers should be mindful of the (unpredictable) English weather before heading out - waterproofs and comfortable shoes are a must.

Photographers will be present on the day to create images for social media and the press.
