Young at Heart Café supports National Carers Week 2025
On Wednesday 11 June 2025 we were delighted to support National Carers Week at our Café.
This week marks the annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlighting the challenges that unpaid carers face, and recognising the contributions they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
We celebrated National Carers Week 2025 for our Young@Heart carers with a small floral gift to each family or friend who supports our guests who attend our Café.

We also had a presentation from a financial advisor about the importance of securing financial futures, to remove the added financial challenges that caring for a loved one can bring.
Our carers were also provided with written information about the sources of help they can access, signposting them to useful carer-friendly services.
