Celebrating Young at Heart’s volunteers during Volunteer Week 2025

Volunteers’ Week is Monday, 2nd to Sunday, 8th June 2025. It’s an annual UK-wide campaign, held since 1984, to thank current and past volunteers for their invaluable efforts.

The campaign highlights the diversity and unity of volunteer work across the UK.

Volunteers’ Week supports the connections between national organisations and grassroots groups, and celebrates the spirit of volunteering that enriches communities each year.

The benefits of volunteering are demonstrated by the friendships that have been formed within the group.

This is enhanced by fundraising events that focus on our volunteers’ wellbeing, including our established Curry Nights, Quiz Nights and an annual afternoon tea event.
